Job summary

Requires 3-5 years of experience in maintenance/grounds keeping, a high school diploma, and the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Hours per pay period: 48, with flexibility based on facility needs.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience preferred in maintenance/grounds keeping.
• High school diploma required.
• Physically able to climb or balance.
• Lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Able to stand, kneel, bend, squat, crouch, and crawl.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and care of hospital grounds and properties.
• Inspect grounds for safety and recommend improvements.
• Maintain gardens, prune shrubs and trees as needed.
• Rake leaves and manage lawn/flower bed care.
• Operate sprinkling equipment; water lawns and plantings.
• Clean grounds; remove debris and snow as required.
• Maintain and equip grounds with lawn mowers, trimmers, etc.
