Job summary

HES Facilities Management seeks a Groundskeeper to maintain school grounds, including mowing, trimming, planting, and general upkeep on campuses. You will operate mowers and power tools, perform seasonal tasks, and help keep outdoor spaces clean and safe for students and staff.

Flexibility, physical stamina, and the ability to work within a team are essential. A high school diploma is preferred, and some lawn-care experience is helpful. Wage will be discussed during interview.

Qualifications

• High school degree preferred.
• Some experience in lawn care helpful.
• Good communication and organizational skills are essential.
• Self-starting, detail-oriented and able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Prepare trucks for the day and load equipment.
• Operate mowers and related powered equipment.
• Mow turf, prune shrubs, plant and maintain beds.
• Maintain sidewalks, driveways and grounds features.
• Perform snow removal and other duties as assigned.
