Job summary

Intermountain Health - St George Regional Hospital is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Worker I - Grounds to support facilities management. You will help maintain grounds, landscaping, parking areas, and related equipment, including mowing, edging, pruning, irrigation monitoring, and winter snow removal.

This role requires a willingness to learn, a clean safety record, and the ability to work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

Demonstrated knowledge of or abilities in listed skills.
Willingness to work hard and to learn.
A valid driver's license may be required for this position.
Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety procedures.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

Maintain appearance, condition, and safety of grounds, landscaping, parking areas, irrigation systems, and equipment.
Plant, fertilize, clip, prune, mow, blow, weed, shovel snow, plow, monitor irrigation, and apply chemical controls.
Demonstrate basic landscape maintenance knowledge including irrigation and use of insecticides/herbicides on turf, trees, and flowerbeds.
