Job summary

Intermountain Health American Fork Hospital is seeking a Maintenance Worker I – Grounds to support our facilities team in maintaining attractive and safe grounds. This entry-level role handles groundskeeping, irrigation monitoring, and may assist with general maintenance tasks in a hospital setting.

Schedule is full-time, with 7am–3:30pm hours, Monday to Friday, and potential winter snow removal calls. Pay is experience-dependent with levels provided for hourly pay bands, and benefits eligible

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the listed landscape and grounds maintenance skills.
• Willingness to learn and work hard.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.
• Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment following safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain appearance, condition, and safety of facility grounds, parking, irrigation systems and related equipment.
• Assist with planting, fertilizing, clipping, pruning, mowing, and snow-related duties as needed.
• Demonstrate basic knowledge of landscape maintenance including irrigation and use of pesticides/herbicides.
