An established industry player is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Laborer to maintain attractive grounds areas and ensure safety. The Grounds Maintenance Laborer is responsible for maintaining attractive grounds areas; protecting against erosion; maintaining grounds for assemblies and/or recreational activities, and ensuring assignments are completed in a safe, proper, and timely manner. A grounds laborer will additionally be responsible for the hardscape areas of the facilities, including parking lots, roadways, sidewalks, and concrete slabs. These areas need to be kept clean, sealed, level, and free of tripping hazards.
This position requires that the employee must successfully complete a criminal history information background check and drug screening and be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
Minimum of one year of experience with landscape maintenance, including push and commercial street sweepers, power brooms or sweepers, trimmers, edgers, snow removal equipment, and salt spreaders.
