Job summary

Essential duties include maintaining athletic fields, repairing structures, and handling chemical applications with appropriate licensing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year full-time grounds maintenance experience.
• Valid unrestricted driver's license; good driving record.
• Must obtain Public Pesticide Applicator License in Category 3B within 1 year of hire; welding certificate preferred.
• Background and driver's license record check.

Responsibilities

• Perform grounds maintenance, mow, weed, and landscape; prune and water plants and shrubs.
• Monitor grounds conditions; pick up trash; clean restrooms; paint as needed.
• Maintain and repair athletic fields; bleachers, fences, and playground equipment.
