Job summary

Grounds Maintenance Technician at Teton County in Jackson, WY performs general maintenance and repair on grounds, facilities, parks and right of way. Duties include mowing, litter removal, basic electrical and plumbing, and operation of light equipment.

You will work outdoors, possibly nights/weekends, and must have a high school diploma or GED along with a valid Wyoming/Idaho driver’s license. Safety and service to the public are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Up to 1 year experience in grounds or building maintenance.
• Must possess a valid Wyoming/Idaho Driver’s License with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds, facilities, parks, and right of way.
• Operate tractors, mowers, vehicles, and light equipment.
• Perform basic repairs and preventative maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Interact professionally with the public and county staff.
