Guardian Fleet Services in Pompano Beach, FL is seeking a Maintenance Associate - Grounds & Buildings to perform routine groundskeeping, building upkeep, and general facility maintenance, ensuring a clean, safe, presentable property for employees, customers, and visitors.

The role involves mowing, trimming, painting, minor carpentry, cleaning exterior and interior areas, inspecting for hazards, supporting seasonal tasks, and coordinating with vendors as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in groundskeeping, janitorial, or general maintenance preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and landscaping equipment.

Responsibilities

• Mow, trim, edge, blow, rake, and remove debris on grounds.
• Perform minor building upkeep: painting, patching, carpentry tasks.
• Clean exterior areas: walkways, parking lots, entrances.
• Assist interior cleaning: sweeping, mopping, trash removal, restocking.
• Inspect for safety hazards and report maintenance needs.
• Support seasonal tasks and special projects.
• Operate maintenance equipment safely and maintain storage areas.
