Qualifications

• Valid CDL and Medical Card required.
• Ability to travel throughout the US (full-time travel).
• Graduate from an accredited line school or have equivalent verifiable experience.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to work long hours outdoors in all types of weather, and lift at least 50 lbs.
• Pass pre-employment and other drug screening requirements.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical distribution and transmission systems.
• String wire conductors and cables.
• Open switches or attach grounding devices to remove electrical hazards.
• Climb poles or use bucket trucks to access equipment.
• Place insulating or fireproofing materials over conductors and joints.
• Identify defective devices using diagrams and testing instruments.
• Locate underground services prior to beginning work.
• Read and interpret plans, instructions, and specifications.
• Operate machinery such as cranes, backhoes, and line equipment.
• Right of Way clearing and reclamation.
