Job summary

Avista is seeking a Journeyman Lineman to install, repair, and maintain overhead and underground electrical power lines and related equipment across the South region, including Grangeville, ID, Pullman, and Clarkston, WA. You will progress through a multi-step ladder from Apprentice to Journeyman and be expected to master all Journeyman duties.

Requirements include journeyman experience, plus CDL, first aid, CPR, and pole top rescue competency.

Qualifications

• Journeyman level experience installing and maintaining overhead and underground power lines.
• Valid CDL license, first aid certification, CPR and pole top rescue competency.
• Other combinations of education/experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain overhead and underground electrical power lines and auxiliary equipment.
• Succeed through the multi‑step progression from Apprentice Lineman 1 to Journeyman Lineman and perform Journeyman duties.
