Job summary

Altitude Energy LLC in Albuquerque, NM, is hiring an Apprentice Lineman. Reports to Foreman and participates in a certified Journeyman Lineman Apprenticeship Program while supporting transmission and distribution work.

Expect to attend quarterly training, maintain safety practices, and develop skills on the job. The role requires a valid driver’s license with clean MVR; CDL is preferred or obtainable within six months.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License with a clean MVR is required; Class A CDL is preferred or must be obtained within six months.
• Must be CPR and First Aid certified or obtain certification within 90 days of employment.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties assigned by the supervisor and assist journeyman lineman apprentices.
• Attend quarterly apprenticeship training and monthly safety calls.
• Read and follow contract documents and drawings to ensure work complies with specifications.
• Readiness to work in varied conditions and maintain quality and safety standards.
• Collaborate with coworkers, engineers and sub-contractors professionally.
