Description

Team Fishel, the Best Choice for Utility Construction and Network Installation, is seeking great Aerial (O/H) Groundman/Laborers for Telecom projects with our Broadband Communications division in the Dayton, Ohio office. An Aerial (O/H) Groundman/Laborer at Team Fishel will handle projects of various complexities and perform site work.

Responsibilities

• Work as a part of a overhead telecom crew
• Load, unload, layout and prep tools/supplies/equipment/materials needed at each job site
• Assist as required in all manual labor aspects of the project as directed by the Lineman, Foreman, or Supervisor
• Handle physically demanding construction duties

Requirements & Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A strongly desired
• Must be able to follow instructions and have good communication skills
• Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, dig, and reach
• Must be able to climb ladders
• Must be able to travel
• Must be able to perform strenuous physical labor under all types of conditions
• Valid driver’s license required with clean driving record for the last 3 years
• Basic tools required could be climbing tools (Belt and Gaffs), basic hand tools etc.
• Must be committed to working safely
• Must pass pre‑employment drug screen

Bilingual

Bilingual English/Spanish experience is a plus

Team Fishel will provide on-the-job training in all areas of safety, including flagging certification, tool operation and maintenance.
