You’ll be embedded with the project team, support senior PMs and Superintendents, and own critical pieces of the mechanical scope. This hands-on role blends field and office work and offers a clear path to grow into a Project Manager.

The position emphasizes practical experience on large ground-up projects, with collaboration across GC, design teams, and trade partners.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in mechanical construction (HVAC, piping, plumbing, or MEP).
• Experience on commercial, industrial, or large ground-up projects.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred; practical experience carries weight.

Responsibilities

• Manage RFIs, submittals, and document control for the mechanical scope.
• Support coordination with GC, design team, and trade partners.
• Assist with procurement of major equipment and materials.
• Track change orders, cost impacts, and schedule considerations.
• Participate in jobsite meetings and field walks.
• Support buyout and closeout activities.
