The role focuses on project profitability, execution strategy, and client relationships, coordinating across project stakeholders including project managers, engineers, and field leadership.

The ideal candidate will guide teams, drive schedules and budgets, and mitigate risks while ensuring safety, quality, and timely closeout of projects.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing large-scale mechanical construction projects.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, piping, sheet metal, and related systems.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, forecasting, contracts, and change orders.

Responsibilities

• Lead large mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Set execution strategies, budgets, schedules, and procurement plans.
• Ensure profitability, forecasting, labor productivity, and cash flow.
• Oversee project managers, engineers, and field leadership.
• Manage relationships with contractors, owners, engineers, and vendors.
• Lead risk assessments, value engineering, and change-order negotiations.
• Coordinate with field operations on manpower, equipment, and milestones.
• Present financial status and risk exposure to senior management.
• Promote consistent PM practices and accountability across teams.
• Mentor and develop project staff.
• Support client retention and business development through delivery.
