Job summary

Marand Builders, Inc. seeks a seasoned General Contractor Healthcare Construction Superintendent to lead ground-up hospital and freestanding ER projects from inception to completion. You will oversee safety, schedules, budgets, and coordination with local government entities.

Ideal candidate has 10+ years in healthcare construction, OSHA 30, Procore and MS Office proficiency, and ability to travel up to 75%. Bachelor’s in CM or related field preferred. Start date ASAP. Jacksonville, FL area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field or equivalent experience.
• At least ten years of healthcare construction experience on ground-up projects.
• Leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• OSHA 30 within last 5 years or ability to renew.
• ICRA certification and familiarity with local government entities.
• Proficiency in project reporting software, MS Office and blueprint reading.
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations and quality standards.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Enforce OSHA and Marand safety plans; prioritize safety on site.
• Supervise field construction to meet design, budget and schedule.
• Lead weekly on-site meetings with subs, vendors, and others.
• Ensure compliance with project procedures and safety programs.
• Maintain health and safety per regulations and company policies.
• Prepare daily field reports and punch lists for customer deadlines.
• Coordinate with Project Manager on construction schedules.
• Maintain on-site contract documents and redline drawings.
• Mentor other Superintendent levels and work with the team on large projects.
