Just Construction Recruitment is seeking an experienced Estimator for ground‑up commercial projects in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. You will prepare detailed estimates, review contract documents, perform quantity takeoffs, and evaluate bids to ensure accurate pricing on projects up to $70M.

The role offers a collaborative, growth‑minded preconstruction team, competitive compensation based on experience, and opportunities to work on high‑profile ground‑up work within a regional market.

Competenze

• 2+ years of commercial construction estimating experience.
• Experience with ground-up construction preferred.
• Ability to read architectural, structural, MEP, and civil drawings.
• Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and sequencing.

Mansioni

• Prepare detailed conceptual, schematic, and hard-bid estimates for ground‑up commercial projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and contract documents.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and develop accurate material and labor pricing.
• Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor and vendor bids.
• Identify scope gaps, exclusions, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop detailed estimates and bid proposals for projects up to $70M.
• Work with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
• Assist with value engineering and cost‑saving opportunities.
• Participate in pre‑bid meetings, site walks, and scope reviews.
