Job summary

READY Construction in Dallas, TX is seeking an experienced Estimator to bid ground-up, remodels, and tenant improvements. You will coordinate with Project Managers, Owners, and architects, build robust budgets, and manage multiple projects concurrently.

A strong background in commercial estimating and subcontractor management is required. The role offers a full-time, on-site position with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent construction management experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial construction estimating.
• Experience with conceptual estimating, negotiated cost estimating, and hard bidding.

Responsibilities

• Attend pre-bid meetings and job sites to learn scope and relationships.
• Coordinate with Project Manager and architect to determine project scope.
• Analyze bid documents and site conditions to identify risks and opportunities.
• Estimate equipment, manpower, cost, and materials; develop take-offs and pricing.
• Qualify subcontractor proposals; compare bids and prepare competitive packages.
• Present estimates and participate in bid reviews with senior management.
