Jobot is seeking a dynamic Chief Estimator for our Ground Up Construction division. You will lead the estimating team from concept through completion, developing detailed budgets and ensuring accurate scope definitions.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in ground-up construction estimation, proven bid success, and strong leadership and communication skills to mentor a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifikationen

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in construction estimation, specifically in ground-up construction.
• Proven experience in successful bidding and winning construction projects.
• A deep understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in estimation software and other related technical tools.
• A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.

• Developing and overseeing comprehensive, detailed project estimates and budgets from the ground up.
• Analyzing and interpreting construction plans and project specifications to determine project scope.
• Coordinating with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to gather all necessary data for accurate estimation.
• Oversee and direct all estimating teams
• Participating in bid reviews and presentations to ensure competitive and profitable project bids.
• Managing and mentoring a team of estimators, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and construction materials costs.
• Implementing and maintaining estimation software and databases for improved accuracy and efficiency.
