Job summary

Rocket Lab in Mississippi is offering a Ground Systems Engineering Intern position at our Stennis site. You will support the Test Ground Systems team, helping provide instrumentation, controls, and automation to capture data for the Archimedes engine and Neutron program.

You will work with mentors, tackle real engineering challenges, and participate in regular 1:1s, tech talks, and internships networking events.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an engineering degree with at least one semester remaining.
• GPA 3.0 or above.
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, lab, or project).
• Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge and grow your technical and professional skills under a mentor.
• Work with a fast-paced group to apply engineering concepts to real challenges.
• Attend frequent 1:1s with mentors and supervisors to track progress.
• Participate in tech talks and networking events with interns and staff.

Education

Pursuing engineering degree (Bachelors/Masters/PhD) in Electrical/Mechatronics/Robotics or Physics
