Job summary

Rocket Lab Corporation in Mississippi is hiring a Grounds Systems Engineering Intern to support the Test Ground Systems team for the Archimedes engine. You will work with mentors to apply engineering concepts, contribute to data capture, instrumentation, and automation during tests, and participate in frequent tech talks and intern networking events.

The role requires ongoing enrollment in an engineering program (Electrical/Mechatronics/Robotics/Physics), GPA 3.0+, and 3+ months of applied

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate in an engineering or physics field with at least one semester remaining.
• GPA 3.0 or above.
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internships, labs, projects)

Responsibilities

• Work closely with a mentor and engineering team to apply knowledge.
• Contribute to solving real engineering challenges in a fast-paced environment.
• Attend regular 1:1s with mentors to track progress and learn.
• Engage in tech talks and intern networking events.
