Job Description

Ground Support Equipment Mechanic. Support aviation maintenance operations by inspecting, maintaining, and repairing Aviation Ground Support Equipment (AGSE). To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today!

Responsibilities

This mechanic performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on AGSE.

Inspects, tests, and operates AGSE to determine equipment serviceability and proper operation.

Services equipment with fuel, oil, water, coolant, hydraulic fluid.

Diagnoses mechanical and electronic malfunctions using visual methods, test equipment, and technical publications.

Removes, disassembles repairs, cleans, treats for corrosion, assembles, and reinstalls AGSE components and accessories, stencils and marks GSE in accordance with technical publications.

Stores, handles, labels, uses, and disposes of hazardous materials and waste in accordance with all state, local, and federal environmental standards and regulations.

Tracks scheduled maintenance in customer software programs and completes all forms and records IAW service guidance and site policies and procedures.
