Job Description

The Aircraft Mechanic II serves as a Passback maintenance MH60 team lead, assisting the MH60 aircraft maintenance supervisor. Responsibilities include assigning daily tasks, supporting scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, and filling in for the supervisor when needed.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor maintenance activities of their assigned phase bay and aircraft.
  • Receive guidance and schedule requirements from the aircraft maintenance supervisor and production control manager.
  • Assign daily tasks to crew and monitor phase flow to ensure timely aircraft completion.
  • Prioritize workload to maintain schedules.
  • Update aircraft status in applicable customer software applications.
  • Assist the aircraft maintenance supervisor and fill in during their absence.
  • Provide technical guidance to team mechanics.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School/GED required.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a secret clearance.
  • Thorough knowledge of MH60 aircraft mechanical troubleshooting, repair procedures, sheet metal/structural modifications, electrical, and avionics operations.
  • Experience with technical publications, ACN electronic logbooks, and Hydra application.
  • 6 years of rotary wing aviation maintenance experience.
  • Strong leadership, team-building, communication skills.
  • Physical ability to operate equipment on the flight line, move, and climb around aircraft.
  • Own tools and toolbox required.
