Job summary

Systems Application & Technologies, Inc. (SA-TECH) is a DoD contractor supporting range operations, weapons testing, and cybersecurity services. We are hiring a Ground Support Equipment Mechanic (GSEM) for White Sands Missile Range near Orogrande, NM.

The GSEM diagnoses and repairs GSE, trains junior staff, and ensures equipment readiness. Candidates must have a high school diploma, 3+ years in GSE maintenance, and required licenses including Class A and forklift. DoD clearance is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum three (3) years' experience repairing and maintaining ground support equipment (GSE).
• Military maintenance background (91, 88, 3521 or similar) is a plus.
• Current Driver's License; ability to obtain DoD clearance.
• Class A license and forklift operator license required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses, repairs and maintains ground support equipment (GSE).
• Advises and trains lower grade workers on diagnosis and repairs of less complex problems.
• Maintains external fuel and grounding systems and performs scheduled maintenance on GSE.
• Operates, services and tests GSE towing vehicles and maintains vehicle records.
• Disposes of hazardous materials per regulatory standards.
