Job summary

SA-TECH seeks a Ground Support Equipment Mechanic at White Sands Missile Range, NM to diagnose, repair, and maintain GSE while supporting DoD test missions.

Responsibilities include servicing fuel and grounding systems, using diagnostic tools, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards. This role requires 3+ years of GSE experience, a Class A CDL, forklift license, and US citizenship with DoD clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum three (3) years’ experience repairing and maintaining ground support equipment (GSE).
• Military maintenance background (91, 88, 3521 or other mechanical MOS would be best).
• Current Driver’s License; Class A license required; forklift operator license required.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain GSE on site.
• Disassemble, repair, reassemble, and test GSE components and accessories.
• Inspect, test, and service GSE to ensure proper operation and safety.
• Maintain vehicle records and equipment documentation; provide dispatch support.
• Work across shifts as needed to support test missions.
