Job summary

United Launch Alliance is seeking a Ground Software Technical Product Owner 3 to guide the definition, prioritization, and delivery of ground software capabilities enabling launch vehicle, pad, and mission integration operations. You will work in a crossfunctional agile team, shaping requirements, planning features, and validating outcomes with systems engineering and avionics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
• Experience working on an agile development team.
• Experience independently designing, developing, and delivering software/hardware solutions.
• Experience presenting system architectures to internal and external audiences.
• Experience with software development lifecycle and version control.

Responsibilities

• Define product vision and maintain backlog for ground software capabilities.
• Translate stakeholder needs into actionable work items for crossfunctional teams.
• Coordinate with systems engineers and interface owners to align with architecture and operations.
• Decompose requirements, establish traceability and acceptance criteria.
• Contribute to design discussions and backlog grooming for priority setting.
• Support verification, UAT, and IV&V to ensure requirements are met.
