Job summary

United Launch Alliance, LLC. is seeking a Ground Systems Software Engineer 3 for the Vulcan Development group in Denver.

You will develop and maintain software for the command, control, and monitoring of the launcher’s avionics suite and ground support equipment, working within an Agile team. You will lead technical initiatives, design solutions for real-time systems, and collaborate with Owners, Architects, QA, and operations to ensure robust, mission-critical software used during launch

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 4+ years of related experience.
• Experience on an agile development team.
• Ability to independently design, develop, and deliver software solutions.
• Experience with C/C++ and OO design, plus software config management (Git).
• Familiarity with CI/CD and TDD practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop software for Vulcan launch vehicle avionics and ground support systems.
• Provide technical leadership and hands-on development for real-time constraints.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, QA and Operations to deliver solutions.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and contribute to system architecture decisions.
