Job summary

dnata is seeking a Ground Service Agent Supervisor in Dallas to lead a team of agents tasked with loading and unloading aircraft, guiding planes to the gate, and ensuring safe, timely operations. The role involves operating ground support equipment, enforcing safety policies, and coordinating with flight crews to maintain on-time performance.

The position requires 1–2 years of supervisory ground service experience, a valid driver’s license, SIDA eligibility, and the ability to lift up to 70

Qualifications

• Valid state driver's license and FAA/Airport identification/seals or authorizations.
• SIDA airport and training tests (pass required).
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Basic computer literacy.
• 1-2 years Ground Service Agent or Supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of 5 to 10 agents responsible for loading and unloading aircraft.
• Guide inbound/outbound airplanes to and from the gate.
• Load, unload, and transport bags and cargo to/from aircraft.
• Operate ground support equipment (tow tractors, belt loaders, etc.).
• Maintain safety and security on the ramp and follow safety policies.
• Communicate with ground personnel and flight crews effectively.
• Follow applicable regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure on-time flights.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Be physically able to stand, lift, bend, and push/pull up to 70 pounds; ascend/descend jet-way stairs with baggage.
• Read and interpret aircraft load sheets, baggage tags, and cargo labels.
• Understand and react to verbal and visual safety commands.
• Work outside in all weather and around airport machinery noises.
