Responsibilities

• Allocate workloads within the department.
• Make sure department deadlines are being met.
• Contribute to effective weekly department meetings.
• Review department goals and business plan periodically.
• Assist the Regional Manager in staffing and scheduling.
• Develop and implement best practices for load utilization.
• Assist in developing cargo sort operating plans.
• Ensure the warehouse receives all required documentation.
• Monitor OS&D shipments.
• Support documentation as needed.
• Identify potential capacity constraints.
• Arrange reroutes and additional trucks as necessary.
• Ensure service provider equipment is in place.
