Job summary

Piedmont Airlines, Inc. is seeking a motivated Shift Manager, Ground Handling to support the Ground Handling Department. The role reports to Station Management and covers labor relations, operations, maintenance, safety, and security, with responsibilities spanning daily oversight and staff development.

Ideal candidates will have familiarity with FAA regulations, security program requirements, and strong Microsoft Office skills. The position involves varied shifts and is based at the station.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation, Business, or a related field.
• Proven leadership experience with ability to pre plan manpower and equipment.
• Knowledge of FAA regulations and Aircraft Operator Standard Security Program.

Responsibilities

• Assist with station labor relations, operations efficiencies, maintenance, facilities, safety, and security.
• Keep company goals and customer expectations in mind when overseeing daily operations.
• Coach and provide career development to the staff.
• Correct non-compliant behavior and impose disciplinary action as required.
• Understand the corporate culture, policies, and goals, and implement them into daily work routines.
• Manage a staff with varied duties and prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports.
