Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a logistics coordinator to support transportation operations in a fast-paced environment. You will work with drivers, carriers, receiving facilities, and internal teams to ensure accurate, timely freight processing, billing, and documentation.

Requirements include a High School Diploma, 1–3 years in transportation operations, and hands-on TMS experience (e2open TMF or Descartes Aljex). Proficiency with MS Office and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in transportation operations, dispatch, or delivery coordination.
• Proficiency in MS Office and TMS systems.
• Knowledge of US ground freight (FTL, LTL, Intermodal) and shipment lifecycles.
• Document auditing (POD validation vs. system records) and dual-system cost/revenue reconciliation before billing.

Responsibilities

• Experience with real-time visibility and telematics platforms (MacroPoint, Tive) and dock scheduling tools (Open Dock).
• Familiarity with freight billing workflows and what constitutes a complete, billable file.
• Understanding of cargo security best practices, chain-of-custody requirements, and security-vetted carrier programs.
