Job summary

Petco is seeking a Grooming Salon Leader to drive grooming salon operations, lead a team of grooming professionals, and deliver high-quality services to pets and their owners. You will oversee scheduling, coaching, and performance, while maintaining safety and sanitation standards across the grooming area.

The role requires hands-on grooming expertise, strong leadership, and a passion for pets, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

2+ years of professional grooming experience or completion of a technical grooming training program.
1-2 years of salon management experience preferred.
High school diploma or GED preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day grooming salon operations and staffing to ensure smooth workflows and efficient capacity.
Recruit, train, and supervise grooming staff; provide coaching and performance evaluations.
Create and manage grooming schedules to maximize productivity and meet customer demand.
Monitor salon performance metrics and implement improvements to drive revenue and customer satisfaction.
Perform professional grooming services to high standards, including baths, cuts, styling, and nail care.
Ensure safety, sanitation, and wildlife well-being in the grooming area and with all pets.
