Pet Supplies Plus in Midlothian, VA is seeking experienced groomers to join our team. You will provide grooming services, follow breed standards, and ensure safety for our furry customers while building strong relationships with their owners.

We offer a $1,500 sign-on bonus, commission-based pay with a guaranteed minimum, plus training, benefits, and career growth opportunities. This is a full-time position based in-store.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year of grooming experience with formal training and/or experience under a certified groomer.
• Ability to move or lift up to 50 pounds and stand/bend for extended periods.
• Must provide own grooming equipment and be flexible for evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Candidates must pass drug screening and be 18+.

Responsabilités

• Delight neighbors and pets with grooming services such as brushing, bathing and conditioning.
• Groom and style pets per owner instructions and breed standards.
• Ensure wellness and safety of furry patrons.
• Develop relationships with pet parents and recommend products/services.
• Engage in community outreach to attract new neighbors.
• Complete Safety Training certification.
• Maintain a clean grooming environment and assist team during downtime.
• Continuously develop grooming skills and techniques.
