Pet Supplies Plus is hiring Experienced Groomers to join our pack in a customer-centric store environment. You will groom, style, and care for a variety of pets, following breed standards and owner instructions, while ensuring safety and cleanliness.

The role offers a $1,500 sign-on bonus for new hires with 1+ year grooming experience, plus commission-based pay with a guaranteed minimum. Training, PTO, and benefits are available for full-time team members.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1-year or more grooming experience with formal training certification and/or experience under an established certified groomer.
• Ability to move or lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend or stoop for extended periods.
• Ability to provide your own equipment (clippers/blades/scissors/etc.)
• Flexibility in working evenings, weekends and holidays.

Aufgaben

• Grooming and styling pets per owners’ instruction and breed standards.
• Delighting neighbors and pets with grooming services such as brushing, bathing, and conditioning.
• Ensuring the wellness and safety of furry patrons.
• Developing long-term relationships with pet parents and recommending products/services.
• Community outreach to attract new neighbors into the store.
• Completing Safety Training certification.
• Performing routine cleaning to keep the grooming environment inviting.
• Assisting store team members during grooming downtime.
• Growing your career through ongoing grooming skills development.
