Job summary

Pet Supplies Plus in the United States is seeking Experienced Groomers to join our pack. Delighting neighbors and pets with grooming services, you will brush, bathe, and style pets per owner instructions and breed standards.

A $1,500 sign-on bonus is available for new groomer hires with 1+ years of experience. This is a commission-based role with training, career growth, and full-time benefits including medical, dental, vision, PTO, and employee discounts. You must own grooming tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year grooming experience with formal training certification or experience with an established certified groomer.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move equipment/pets.
• Ability to stand, bend or stoop for extended periods.
• Must provide own grooming tools (clippers, blades, scissors, etc.).
• Evenings, weekends and holidays availability required.
• Must pass drug screening where applicable and be 18+.

Responsibilities

• Delight neighbors and pets with grooming services (brushing, bathing, conditioning).
• Groom and style pets per owner instructions and breed standards.
• Ensure wellness and safety of pets during grooming sessions.
• Build long-term relationships with pet parents and recommend suitable products/services.
• Participate in community outreach to attract customers.
• Complete Safety Training certification.
• Assist store team during grooming downtime.
• Continuously develop grooming skills and techniques.
