Job summary

Pet Supplies Plus is seeking Experienced Groomers in the United States to join our friendly neighborhood team. You will provide grooming services, build strong relationships with pet parents, and support store growth while upholding safety standards.

A $1,500 sign-on bonus is offered for qualified hires and a commission-based pay structure with a guaranteed minimum accompanies full-time hours. Groomers should have at least 1 year of grooming experience, own basic grooming tools, and be able to

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
1+ year grooming experience with formal training certification or equivalent.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, bend or stoop for extended periods.
Must provide own grooming equipment.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Must pass drug screening and be 18+ years old.

Responsibilities

Delight neighbors and pets with grooming services (brushing, bathing, conditioning).
Groom and style pets per owners’ instructions and breed standards.
Ensure wellness and safety of furry patrons at all times.
Build long-term relationships with pet parents and recommend products/services.
Engage in community outreach to attract new neighbors to the store.
Complete Safety Training certification.
