Job summary

Colony Park Animal Hospital in Durham, NC is seeking an experienced Groomer who loves animals and client care. You will communicate with clients at every visit to recommend services and ensure their pets leave looking pampered and healthy.

This is a part-time position based on commission earnings. You will work with a friendly veterinary team, maintain grooming areas, and handle dogs and cats with care in a busy, noisy environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a pet groomer with proficiency in various grooming techniques for dogs and cats.
• Knowledgeable about pet behavior and handling techniques to provide a positive patient experience.
• Excellent communication skills to work with pet owners and hospital team members.
• Ability to endure standing and walking for long periods of time, as well as lifting up to 50lbs.
• Able to work in noisy conditions with sounds from other animals and various equipment.
