Job summary

ShopRite of West Milford is seeking a Receiver to ensure accurate receiving of deliveries, maintain a neat warehouse, and provide a great customer experience. The role supports store operations and asset protection while adhering to safety guidelines.

The job requires English proficiency, basic math, ability to stand for long shifts, and lifting up to 50 pounds. It is part-time, non union, with hourly pay of $18.00 to $20.00 and benefits eligibility after the first 30 days.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and speaking English proficiently.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Stand/walk for full shifts, lift up to 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Work well in a team and with customers.
• Follow safety policies and QA standards.
• Candidate must be able to handle freight and operate in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness, neatness and organization of the warehouse area.
• Verify invoices for cost, retail and quantity.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Unload trucks and move merchandise up to 50 lbs.
• Follow safety procedures when handling equipment and products.
• Rotate and stock merchandise per Company policy.
• Maintain sanitation and QA standards in work areas.
• Adhere to all local, state and federal regulations.
