Job summary

ShopRite is seeking a Receiver at the Montgomery location to ensure accurate receiving of deliveries and maintain a clean, organized warehouse. You will help protect company assets and uphold safety standards while delivering friendly, efficient service to customers.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and working with various products. This part-time, non-union position offers benefits after qualifying periods and opportunities to grow within the store.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and speak English.
• Basic math skills required.
• Able to stand and walk for full shift.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Provide friendly customer service and assist customers.
• Work cohesively with others and be a team player.
• Punctuality and reliable attendance; overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor grocery storage area for cleanliness and prepare for next shift.
• Handle damaged or return-to-stock items per policy.
• Verify invoices for cost, retail, and quantity accuracy.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Promote current charitable promotions to customers.
• Observe safety regulations when operating equipment.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and safe work environment.
• Dress and groom according to policy (uniform, badge, hair restraint).
• Unload trucks and move merchandise as needed.
• Stand at workstation for the full shift.
