Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Northbrook, IL is seeking a dedicated Team Member to assist Grocery operations, including stocking shelves, displaying products, and helping customers with a friendly, knowledgeable approach.

You will maintain clean displays, support inventory, and follow safety and sanitation standards while upholding WFM standards and delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensures a fresh and appealing display by keeping cases and shelves clean and well stocked.
• Stocks and cleans grocery shelves, bulk bins, frozen and dairy case.
• Monitors and prevents spoilage and communicates waste to buyers and supervisors.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Assists with sampling program and keeps sample areas full.
• Follows safety and sanitation procedures and completes required worksheets.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned.
• Provides excellent customer service and answers phones promptly.
• Maximizes sales through proper stocking and merchandising.
• Reports safety hazards and violations to management.
