Job summary

Whole Foods Market in a retail setting is seeking a team member to support grocery operations. You will help receive, stock, and display products, ensure clean shelves, and assist customers with a friendly, proactive approach.

The role emphasizes accurate pricing, adherence to food safety standards, teamwork, and flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. Previous retail experience is not required.

Qualifications

• No formal education required for entry level team member.
• Willingness to learn product knowledge and store procedures.
• Ability to perform basic math and accurately price items.

Responsibilities

• Keep displays clean and stocked; front-face products and rotate stock.
• Assist with shelving, bulk bins, and dairy/frozen cases.
• Monitor spoilage and communicate waste to team members.
• Maintain back stock and assist with sample programs.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and Weights and Measures rules.
• Open, mid, and close duties with accurate pricing signs.
• Provide courteous, efficient service and respond to customer needs.
• Support store initiatives and participate in required trainings.
