Whole Foods Market in Westport, CT is seeking a Team Member to stock, display, and merchandise products while delivering outstanding customer service. You will maintain clean shelves, assist with sampling, and participate in inventory checks as needed.

The role requires the ability to lift 50 pounds, work in a fast-paced environment, and adapt to a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. Training and ongoing team support are provided.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and stand 6–8 hours.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Keep cases and shelves clean and stocked; rotate products.
• Stock shelves, bulk bins, frozen and dairy.
• Monitor spoilage and communicate waste to buyers.
• Maintain back stock.
• Assist sampling program.
• Complete spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets.
• Assist with periodic inventory checks.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle phones.
• Maximize sales through proper merchandising methods.
• Follow health, sanitation and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary environment and equipment.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties; verify signs and pricing.
• Report safety hazards and violations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
