Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking an entry-level Team Member to support the Grocery team by restocking shelves, preparing product, and assisting customers with friendly, knowledgeable service. You will maintain displays, rotate stock, and ensure cleanliness in accordance with WFM standards.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, flexible scheduling including nights and weekends, and a willingness to learn about products and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.

Responsibilities

• Keep cases and shelves clean and well stocked.
• Stock and clean grocery shelves, bulk bins, frozen and dairy.
• Monitor spoilage and communicate waste.
• Maintain back stock in good order.
• Assist with sampling program.
• Complete spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required.
• Assist with periodic inventory checks.
• Provide excellent customer service and address needs of customers.
• Maximize sales through proper stocking and merchandising.
• Follow health, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties.
• Report safety hazards and violations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
