Whole Foods Market is seeking a Team Member to assist the Team Leader in daily operations across profitability, merchandising, labor, and compliance. You will develop team members, maintain vendor relationships, and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations while delivering exceptional customer service.

The role emphasizes leadership, mentoring, and a strong store presence to drive sales and ensure high standards in all store operations.

Qualifications

• 18+ months retail Team Member experience with 6+ months of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains creative store layout and product merchandising.
• Works with Team Leader to achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets.
• Assists Team Leader in analysis of sales, reports and labor.
• Demonstrates advanced product knowledge and awareness of new products.
• Maintains vendor relationships and manages documentation for vendor processing.
• Leads and mentors Team Members; provides evaluations and feedback.
• Acts as point person in absence of Team Leader.
• Ensures high standards of retail execution and customer service.
• Encourages teamwork and strong morale across the team.
• Responds to customer needs and questions to delight customers.
