Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Findlay, OH is seeking a Grocery Team Leader (Key Holder) to lead daily store operations with a passion for customer service and attention to detail in stocking and inventory management. You will operate the POS, manage merchandise, and support a strong team culture.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of retail experience, a valid driver’s license (preferred), and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs as part of a dynamic leadership role.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of retail experience with progressively increasing responsibility.
• Valid driver’s license strongly preferred.
• Physical requirements: ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs with frequent lifting above shoulder height.
• Schedule availability for a flexible, full-time schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to safely operate power equipment; valid driver’s license is preferred.
• Occasional response to alarm calls during non-working hours and potential shifts at other local stores.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the Store and support daily operations.
• Unloading merchandise from deliveries and moving stock to the floor.
• Maintain merchandise rotation and ensure product quality.
• Provide exceptional customer service and build sales.
• Handle cash deposits, make change, and manage registers.
• Help build and train the store team; develop leadership skills.
