Qualifications

• Retail or other customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to influence others and create repeat business.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling product.

Responsibilities

• Engage peers to provide the best possible shopping experience for customers.
• Communicate with team members and assign daily tasks.
• Mentor and coach team members to exceed sales goals and maintain Meijer standards.
• Support training new team members and cross-training high potential talent.
• Assist with department schedule writing to focus on engagement and profitability.
• Ensure product freshness by monitoring rotation and dating policies.
• Lead in ordering, receiving, stocking, pricing and product display where applicable.
• Contribute to a diverse, inclusive work environment and uphold Meijer culture.
