Job summary

WinCo Foods in Gilbert, AZ is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager by planning, coordinating and managing store operations to control costs, meet labor targets, and deliver a safe, clean and friendly shopping experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior retail leadership experience or participation in a Manager Apprentice Program.
• Strong communication and supervisory abilities with a focus on team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in planning, coordinating and managing store operations.
• Monitor labor efficiency, maintain stock levels, and ensure a safe shopping environment.
• Hire, train, coach and discipline store personnel as needed.
• Lead by example to achieve projected labor and productivity goals.
• Ensure merchandising plans are executed and store standards are met.
