Job summary

WinCo Foods is seeking candidates for a Manager Apprentice Program to assist the Store Manager in planning, coordinating and managing store operations. You will help control costs, meet labor targets, and provide a safe, friendly shopping environment for customers and employees.

Typical duties include supervising the Grocery department, hiring and training staff, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Strong leadership and communication are required for successful performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in retail grocery management or store operations is preferred.
• Strong communication and supervisory skills are essential.
• Ability to operate computer programs and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in planning, coordinating, and managing store operations.
• Monitor stock replenishment to meet customers' purchasing needs.
• Lead the Grocery department and ensure compliance with policies.
• Hire, train, and discipline store personnel as needed.
• In the Store Manager's absence, perform delegated duties.
