Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of grocery store management experience.
• Strong customer service and supervision skills.
• Ability to hire, train and evaluate staff in a store setting.
• Ability to plan schedules, budgets and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise and coordinate activities of retail sales workers.
• Provide customer service by greeting and assisting customers and handling inquiries.
• Direct and supervise staff in sales, inventory, cash handling, and customer service.
• Monitor sales to ensure quality service and goods.
• Plan budgets and authorize payments and merchandise returns.
• Prepare reports for management and budget departments.
• Lead scheduling and time card records for employees.
• Ensure safety, health, and security rules are followed.
