Job summary

Price Rite of Cranston is seeking a Store Manager to lead 100–150 team members, protect company assets, and deliver strong sales and store presentation. You will oversee staffing, training, and daily operations in a fast-paced grocery environment.

This role requires leadership, safety and customer service focus, adherence to policies, and the ability to manage payroll, inventory, and vendor relations. A company-recognized food safety certification is desirable.

Qualifications

• Two-plus years related management experience.
• Associate degree or equivalent education and experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and percentages.
• Ability to apply algebra and geometry concepts.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift and perform duties as required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises 100–150 team members and directs store operations.
• Interviews, hires, trains, and develops staff; manages performance.
• Maintains store conditions and ensures sanitation and safety standards.
• Maximizes sales and gross profits while controlling payroll.
• Builds relationships with vendors and coordinates with support staff.
