Job summary

Price Rite of TORRINGTON is seeking a Store Manager to lead 100-150 team members, direct, develop and manage store staff, protect assets, and maximize sales and gross profits. You will ensure sanitation, merchandising, payroll and proper record keeping while complying with company and government policies.

The role requires experience in management, strong communication, and the ability to read and interpret safety and operating manuals.

Qualifications

• The minimum required qualifications include two-plus years of related management experience.
• An Associate Degree preferred or equivalent of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and to speak effectively before groups.

Responsibilities

• Manages, supervises and provides leadership to 100-150 team members in the store.
• Develops and maintains a team concept to improve morale, communication, community involvement and working conditions.
• Maximizes store sales and profits while maintaining store conditions and presentation.
• Establishes relationships with staff, vendors, and Wakefern staff and ensures compliance with laws and policies.
